Product Overview
The PVC Plastic I-Beam is a next-generation formwork reinforcement beam designed as a direct replacement for traditional timber walings, timber studs and wooden beams in cast-in-place concrete construction.
Extruded from high-strength engineering PVC, the I-beam combines a wide top/bottom flange with a thinner central web — an I-section profile that delivers excellent bending resistance while keeping self-weight to a minimum. It is purpose-built for wall formwork, column formwork, slab/shoring systems and beam sides, pairing directly with plastic formwork panels, plywood or steel formwork.
Where timber beams warp, rot, absorb water and are discarded after a few uses, the PVC I-Beam stays dimensionally stable, weatherproof and reusable across 50–80 construction cycles — with 100% of waste and off-cuts recyclable at end of life.

Standard extrusion molds currently available. Dimensions refer to cross-section (see diagram: a = beam height, b = flange width, c = web thickness). Length can be produced to your project requirement.
